How to Use Octobrush Effectively

Get close to an opponent without being noticed for an ambush attack.

Use Squid Swim paired with the Ninja Squid gear ability to leave no trace while swimming behind enemy lines.

Force the enemy to reposition with the Suction Bomb.

If the enemy manages to get in a good unbreakable position, you can throw Suction Bombs to scatter them; opening a chance for your team to push forward.

Use the Zipcaster to invade the enemy's position and catch them by surprise from behind.

The Octobrush will only be effective at close-quarters combat as with all brushes. Start painting areas with ink once you spawn to fill up your Special-Gauge to gain access to the Zipcaster. Use the Zipcaster to quickly get behind the enemy team and start swinging your brush at them.

The octobrush is way better than you make it sound. You say it's a C. I say it's an SS+. I can average 22 splats and am S+3, using the octobrush. It does not suck.
