Suicune is considered a Special Pokemon. You can only have one Special Pokemon on your team, which means you cannot combine two Suicune or one Suicune and one Raikou on your team.

The Nature and sub skills of the first Suicune you befriend is expected to be the same for all players, and it is also expected to be the same as the first Raikou and Entei you befriended in previous research events.
Your first Suicune is likely to have a neutral nature, not increasing or decreasing anything in particular. It should also have good sub skills for Skills Specialty Pokemon including Skill Level Up S and Skill Trigger S, as well as the gold Sleep EXP Bonus.
| Nature | Increased Stat | Decreased Stat |
|---|---|---|
| Gentle | Main Skill chance | Energy recovery |
| Careful | Main Skill chance | Ingredient finding |
| Sassy | Main Skill chance | EXP gains |
The best nature for Suicune is one that increases the chance of triggering main skills. Its main skill Helper Boost (Water) is strong but only triggers rarely, so any increase in main skill chance is appreciated.
