Slowbro and Slowking are both Skills Specialty Pokemon that pick up the same Berry and ingredients. The only differences between them are the frequency of their help and their carry limit.
Slowking takes the crown as the better Slowpoke evolution with its better frequency and carry limit. It can also be obtained faster, since Slowpoke does not need to be leveled up in order for you to get Slowking.
King's Rock can be purchased from the Regular Exchange for 1,400 Sleep Points. The Linking Cord can be obtained in the same way, but you can also get them for free from your Research Community.
Slowbro got a buff in Version 1.5.0, which gives it a higher ingredient finding chance than Slowking. However, since Slowking is still faster, this may just help balance these two evolutions out more.
If you still want to have a Slowbro for a complete Pokedex, you may want to find one during sleep sessions. Slowbro can be found in more research areas and at lower Snorlax Ratings compared to Slowking, so you have a better chance of encountering it out in the wild.
