Get the Canoe Recipe From Sparlkling Skylands
You can get the Canoe Recipe by interacting with the glowing spot near the fountain, which is located on the side of the Skyland Building in Sparkling Skylands.

Reach the Top of the Waterfall
The Waterside Dinghy can be easily built at the top of the waterfall area, next to an existing canoe. Spawn duckweed with a powered-up Leafage, and Dragonite should appear ready to be befriended afterward.

Teaches the Move Glide
Immediately after befriending Dragonite, it will teach you the move Glide. This allows you to fly around areas, especially in Sparkling Skylands, where you need to fly over places to reach them since most of the islands are not connected.
