Pokemon Pokopia - How to Get Beans

How to Get Bean

Obtained From the Withered Wasteland

Beans Location

Bean and its seeds are immediately available on the first location, the Withered Wasteland. The bean is found on top of a hill directly west of the Pokemon Center.

If you want to collect the whole Bean plant, use the move Rototiller; but if you want to get the seed, use Rock Smash on the block where it is planted.

Purchased as Seeds From the PC Shop

Purchase Bean Seed from Shop
Bean seeds can be bought at the Pokemon Center shop for 50 Life Coins per set of five.

How to Use Bean

Used for Cooking

Used Beans for Cooking
After unlocking the recipe for Frying Pan, you can use the Bean to make Hamburger Steak. All you have to do is add one bean and mix it with other ingredients to start making the steak.

Note that you will need to progress the main story to get the recipe for Frying Pan.

Used for Requests

Used Beans for Requests
You'll also need Bean to finish some requests, such as Do the... Team Initiation Challenge? where you need to submit 10 beans and Time to Party requires 15 beans.

Plant the Beans Seed

Once you have the move Rototiller, you can set up a field to plant the beans. Remember to water the plant or place it near a source of water so that it can grow.

Have a Pokemon Use Grow on the Plants
Bring a Pokemon with the Grow specialty close to your Bean plant to help it grow faster.
