Warm Platecap is a Harvesting resource node that requires the Sickle to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your inventory.
Warm Platecaps are the red mushrooms that have clusters of small holes at the top similar to a honeycomb. Approaching one causes it to emit an orange smoke effect.
These fungi are found in grasslands, forests, and mountainous areas. They may sometimes also appear in landmarks. See the section below to learn all the Warm Platecap locations.
You can find plenty of Warm Platecaps in Monarch's Bluff. Most of these are near the region's two Spirit Shrines, as well as the Hermit Sprit Shrine at the border of Windsward.
We recommend starting from the Hermit Spirit Shrine or the shrine near Achernar when farming for this resource as these locations contain low-level enemies.
The table below shows the available resources that you can obtain from Warm Platecap.

Platecap Flesh is the most common item obtained from Warm Platecaps. It is an Alchemy Resource that you can use to craft different types of items such as Magic Weapons and Gemstones.
The remaining items are uncommon or rare drops that may require using a consumable that grants Luck buffs to obtain them.
