Mature Trees is a Logging resource node that requires the Logging Axe to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your inventory.

Mature Trees Locations

On Grasslands and Forests

New World - Mature Tree on Grassland Area

Mature Trees can be found around the grasslands and forests of Aeternum. You can use your Map to find a grove of them at the dark-green colored areas.

A Mature Tree with exposed roots

Unlike Young Trees, Mature Trees are taller and have thicker trunks. In some areas, particularly near the shorelines, these trees also have exposed roots, making it easy to distinguish them from Young Trees.

You can use the Green Wood as a crafting material to place a camp outside a landmark or settlement.

Both Green Wood and Petrified Wood are raw materials that you can refine into a Timber using a Woodshop in the settlement. Using the Timber as a crafting material allows you to create furniture, muskets, spears, bows, as well as tools.
