Salamander Snails are magical creatures that appear in the form of a giant fiery snail. You can find them perched on top of a moss-covered dead tree.
You can find these creatures in the grasslands and forests of certain regions. Sometimes, they will appear in highland regions. See the section below to learn all the Salamander Snail locations.

There is a total of six locations in Windsward where Salamander Snails can be harvested. If you are coming from outside the region, we recommend camping the grassland spawn locations as it is easier to find the Salamander Snails, all without any enemies nearby.
There is a total of four locations in Monarch's Bluff where Salamander Snails can be harvested. We recommend camping the northern locations as lots of players will be clearing out the Ancient enemies, allowing you to wait for a Salamander Snail to respawn, in peace.
You can find plenty of Salamander Snails north of the region's fort. These are located near Navarro's Kitchen, a landmark that contains Level 38 enemies.
We recommend harvesting the resource nodes on the red circles east of Navarro's Kitchen as these do not contain any aggressive enemies nearby.
There are a lot of locations where Salamander Snails nodes will spawn in Ebonscale Reach. The locations in the Imperial Palace elite area will be hard to farm as enemies here will be very strong, level 62+ Corrupted. Farm here only if you have a group of 5 to make the run easier.
It is recommended that players follow the following farming route to harvest all the easy spawns. Starting at the Fire Shrine follow the route across the swamp. Upon reaching the crossroads, head towards the region's Fort. Once near the fort, head down towards the entrance to the Imperial Palace, following the path along the beach.
A number of Salamander Snails will spawn to the north of Eastburn Outpost in Great Cleave. When farming, do note that this area is high in player traffic making it a bit competitive to gather Salamander Snails in this region.
Salamander Snails can only be found in the general vicinity of Edengrove's Upper Slag Mine, Mouthsting Lumbermill, Rotted Spring Camp. To get here, players will have to walk from Valor Hold Outpost as there is no nearby spirit shrine to teleport to.
