This is a location guide to all the spawn points of Bisons in New World! Read on to find all Bison locations, areas with the most spawn points, and all kinds of Bison drops!

Bison Basic Info

Bisons are docile animals. Unlike cows, they take multiple hits to take down so its suggested to get a good position first and even applya disable to avoid wasting time in chasing them around the area.

Where to Find Bisons

Bisons are often found in grasslands. They are easily found in Reekwater but can also be found (albeit, in a fewer number) in Windsward.

Windsward

Windsward is the best Bison farming area so far for the early game. It's located near a waypoint for easier traveling and it's near the border of Monarch's Bluff which has some Bison as well.

Monarch's Bluff

Has some Bison near the spawn points in Monarch's Bluff. Their spawnpoint is near Windsward's spawn points so the player is free to swap between the two locations for faster hunting.

Reekwater

Bison in Reekwater are concentrated to the areas surrounding the region's Settlement. This makes for easy access should you need to hunt them, making this region one of the best for hunting Bison.

Restless Shore

Restless Shore Bison are less common and their clusters have a bit of distance from one another. However, the northern cluster reaches the edge of the Mourningdale border, which also has Bison roaming around. Searching in these areas of the two regions should provide lots of Bison to hunt.

Ebonscale Reach

Bison in Ebonscale Reach are most commonly found in the mountainous area of Serenity Rise, though it may be a bit dangerous to traverse this area as several enemies roam here. Another option would be Stormcourt Fields, which is to the south of the region.

Mourningdale

Bison in Mourningdale in the Flooded Plains, which is to the south of the region. This area of Bison almost crosses over to Restless Shore, so as mentioned previously, you can hop between the two regions as there is a large cluster in the surrounding area.

Edengrove

Bison in Edengrove are rare, and can only be found on the mountain trails to the northwest of the region. It's not recommended that you hunt here due to their scarcity.

Shattered Mountain

Bison in Shattered Mountain are fairly common, though their clusters are distant from one another. The easiest place to hunt would be to the south of the Mountainhome Outpost due to its ease of access.

Great Cleave

Bison in Great Cleave are found to north of the Cleave's Point Outpost, near the border to Shattered Mountain. Due to the close proximity to the next region, the bison from both will sometimes cross over, so you'll have a lot to hunt in this location.
