Wood is primarily used as crafting material in various Crafting Stations, and for various recipes such as Ammo and Planks.
This is an extremely valuable resource that should be obtained whenever possible.
Wood can be gathered through Logging. You can obtain Wood by picking them up from Bushes, or you can use an Axe to chop down larger trees, such as Mature trees. Better quality axes will result in greater amounts gathered.
Gathering wood will raise your Logging skill.
If you prefer not to spend time cutting trees, consider buying Wood from Trading Posts in Settlements with gold instead!
