This is a guide on how to get Azoth for New World. Read on to learn all the methods on farming Azoth, what enemies drops Azoth, and the best way to use Azoth.
List of Contents
One of the primary ways of getting Azoth is by completing main quests and sidequests. Azoth rewards from quests are displayed when you first accept them from an NPC.
Quests are, by far, the best way of getting Azoth. However, do note that some quests will not have Azoth rewards, while others can reward as much as 500 Azoth!
After players hit level 20 and secure their Azoth Staff, the ability to clear corruption breaches will be unlocked. Successfully clearing corruption breaches will reward players with Azoth, Territory Standing, and Breach Caches.

Ancient Enemies (Skeletons) have a chance of dropping Azoth upon death. If you wish to consider leveling your character while farming Azoths, it is highly suggested to choose Ancient enemy areas as your farming spot.
Another way of getting Azoth is by acquiring resource reward items like the Vial of Suspeneded Azoth. Upon consumption of the reward item, a certain number of Azoth will be deposited into the player's balance.
These items can be found as enemy drops or as dungeon rewards. However, the former will be a very random occurrence as enemy levels do not determine drop rarity!

Fast traveling in New World will cost Azoth to complete. Costs will vary depending on a lot of different factors ranging from player Encumberance to the Faction owner of the area.
A quick way to view Azoth costs before traveling is by hovering over the different settlements and Spirit Shrines on the world map. This is the primary way of using Azoth but you will want to not abuse this feature too much as Azoth can also be used in other ways.

Skills require skill points to use. Once spent, the only way to unlearn these skills is to use Respec. At the early stages of the game, using Respec is completely free. However, once your character reaches past 20, each Respec use will now consume Azoth. Make sure to plan out and finalize your character build before heading into the mid-stages of the game!

Azoth can also be used during the crafting process of weapons and armor. Alloting a certain amount of Azoth before crafting will increase the chances of getting attributes, perks, and gem slots for your crafted item.
Do note, the amount you can add is capped by the potential gear score of the item. High tier items, in this case, can consume more Azoth and potentially get more modifiers!
