Despite the New World fans' popular demand for the game to be released on the PlayStation, New World has continuously confirmed that PC will be its exclusive platform in the foreseeable future.
Similar to the PlayStation, there are no plans yet for the game to be released in consoles.
While the Nintendo Switch has gained massive popularity for being one of the best handheld consoles, there were also no mentions of the game being ported to the Switch. It's also likely because the game might not be able to run properly on the Switch.
From New World's Closed and Open Beta to its official release on the 28th of September, 2021, PC has been the only available platform for the game.

This sucks looks like an amazing game but I won't buy a pc just to play one game I believe there making a mistake not releasing it to console. There definently just leaving money on the table
