This is a guide about Queue Times in New World and choosing the best Server for your region! Learn what to do about long queue times, how to avoid long wait times, and find the server with least lag to play on!

How to Pick a Server With a Short Queue Line
No Fixed Servers
Server Queue time varies on the number of people attempting to log on to that specific server. A single day, one server may be great to play on but after a few while, it gets populated to cause Queue Time delay when playing.
Check Server Population
Before creating a character, it is best to learn how to check which servers are the least populated. This will allow you to get a proper headstart into the game by being able to play with the least amount of lag and delays as much as possible.
Take Your Location into Account
You have a poor connection to this Region which may hinder your experience. For the best experience, choose a Region that is closer to your location.
One server may have low population count but be located in an area that's far from your current location. This may allow you to login easily, but the in-game delay will prevent you from having a smooth gameplay experience in the long run. Don't just choose a server because of low population!
October 1 Update Shows Which Servers are Full
As of October 1, Amazon has added a new update that shows a server's status if its full. It will be impossible to create a character on these servers so it is better to find lesser populated ones to play on. If you have other friends that hopped into the game late and they can't jump on your server, consider transferrig to their server instead!

Current Queue Times
At the time of this article's creation, many players are experiencing long queue times due to the influx of new users. The developers have indicated that they are aware of the issue, and that they are expanding the server list, as well as allowing for server changes for two weeks.

What Are Queue Times?
Order of Players Logging to a Server
A Queue time is generated when several players are logging into a game's server at the same time. A queue time shows your current place in the number of players trying to log into a game and will change if the first players before you successfully enters the game.
Caused by Massive Login Influx
A server queue time is generated usually when there are massive amount of players attempting to log into a specific server at the same time. The time range for queue ranges from a few seconds to even hours depending on the number of players logging into the game as well as your position in queue.
Usual cases where Queue Times appear before login are caused by a game's new release, new events in the game, and gameplay expansions and updates!
