Hemp Locations: How to Get Fiber

Hemp is a gathering resource node that is primarily harvested for Fiber in New World. This guide will show you all Hemp locations and a complete list of extractable resources from this particular node. Read on!

Hemp is a Harvesting resource node that requires the Sickle to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your inventory.

Hemp Locations

Hemp are the tall green plants that have distinct pinkish flowers at their tips. They also tend to stand out against herbs and other vegetation due to their height.

These plants are usually found in grasslands and forests across Aeternum, specifically in New World's starting zones. See the section below to learn all the Hemp locations.

First Light Hemp Locations

There are plenty of Hemp plants found in First Light, although most of these locations are spread out throughout the region.

Everfall Hemp Locations

Everfall has a total of eight locations where Hemp can be harvested. Note that the larger circles on the map indicates that the location has more abundant number of plants.

If you are looking to obtain Hemp in bulk, Windsward and Monarch's Bluff have a higher abundance.

Windsward Hemp Locations

Hemp are easily found in Windsward as their locations are close to each other. If you need to farm for these plants, head over to the areas with the larger circles on the map.

Monarch's Bluff Hemp Locations

You can find Hemp in several locations in Monarch's Bluff. Although most of these are scattered throughout the region, you can head over to the area near the region's Fort to obtain the plants within proximity.

Cutlass Keys Hemp Locations

Hemp are easily found in the southeastern side of Cutlass Keys. We recommend unlocking the Marshview Shrine to easily travel between the areas abundant with Hemp and the region's settlement.

Note that these areas contain Level 33-35 enemies so you may need to level up to defeat them.

Brightwood Hemp Locations

There are only six areas in Brightwood where Hemp can be harvested. These locations are found in between the region's fort and Wraithburg, a landmark that has Level 35 enemies.

If you are looking to obtain Hemp in bulk, Windsward and Monarch's Bluff have a higher abundance.

Weaver's Fen Hemp Locations

Weaver's Fen has a total of ten locations where you can harvest Hemp. These areas are found far from the region's settlement and may require you to use the Spirit Shrines to reach them easily.

We recommend unlocking the South Pestilence Shrine, south of the settlement to reach the Hemp plants near Outlook Mill and Gracewater.

Restless Shore Hemp Locations

You can find plenty of Hemp on the northern side near Fangsnap's Den and Clawpoint Ruins in Restless Shore. Note that these areas contain a number of Level 41 wolves roaming around, so you may need to defeat them first before harvesting the resource nodes.

Ebonscale Reach Hemp Locations

While there are plenty of Hemp plants in Ebonscale Reach, most of them can either be found in enemy patrolled locations or in Corruption Breach belts that line the region. Do note that some nodes will be unable to spawn due to level 65 Corrupted Breaches.

Farming south of the main settlement will have players fighting level 57+ tigers and boars in order to farm hemp. To the north, level 57+ Corrupted enemies await.

Mourningdale Hemp Locations

There is an abundance of Hemp nodes in Mourningdale and most of them are very easy to farm quickly. All the fields to the south of Mourningdale Town will have plenty of Hemp nodes making it perfect for farming large quantities of both fiber and harvesting skill EXP.

Fibers are a type of raw material that you can refine into a Linen using the Loom in the settlement. Using the Linen as a crafting material allows you to make different types of light armor, bags, and fishing poles.
