Weapon Mastery refers to your character's proficiency with a specific weapon type.
Defeating an opponent with any weapon rewards you with a certain amount of Weapon Mastery XP, which levels up the Weapon Mastery for that specific weapon. The higher your Weapon Mastery level, the more skill points you will earn to learn new skills.
Each weapon type has two skill trees. Each skill tree has 19 skills total, which are broken down into 3 active skills and 16 passive skills per skill tree.
Players can only learn up to a maximum of 19 skills, so the choice of which skill tree to go down is entirely up to you.
