How to Fix Unrecoverable Error: No Product Information found
Turning IPv6 off
One of the solutions that seemed to work for most players is by disabling IPv6 in the network properties.
To disable IPv6, follow these steps:
| 1 | From the Start/Windows Menu, click on Settings. |
|---|---|
| 2 |  From there, select Network & Internet |
| 3 | Click on Change adapter options and a window will pop-out. |
| 4 | Right click on your internet connection and select properties. |
| 5 |  In the networking tab, scroll down until you see the "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)." |
| 6 | Uncheck the box besides it and click OK to save your changes. |
Once you have disabled the IPv6, try re-launching New World again to check if it works.
Roll Back to a Stable Build
If you still encounter the error and are on a Windows Preview Insider Build, then it is recommended to roll back to a stable build of Windows 10, as New World does not currently support Windows Insider Builds.
Check if EasyAntiCheat is Disabled
To check if your EastAntiCheat is disabled, press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open up a window. In the field, type services.msc
, and from there, scroll down until you see the EasyAntiCheat. If it's disabled, right-click and select start
to enable it back.
Restart Your System
If all of the solutions above do not solve your issue, then simply restarting your system might fix the problem.
What Causes the Unrecoverable Error Problem?
Incompatible/Unupdated OS
The problem most likely happens to systems with the incompatible OS. The best way to avoid this error in the future is to make sure that your Operating system is up to date.
