Blightmoth is a Harvesting resource node that does not require any tool to harvest. Simply walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your Inventory.

Blightmoth Locations

Blightmoths are magical creatures that appear in the form of a giant black moth. They have a red abdomen with a skull-shaped marking, as well as white stripes throughout the body. You can find them perched on top of a moss-covered dead tree with its wings spread out.

You can find these creatures near mountainous areas across the regions. See the section below to learn all the Blightmoth locations.

First Light Blightmoth Locations

Blightmoths in First Light can be found by the foot of the mountainous areas above First Light Hamlet and Fort First Light.

Everfall Blightmoth Locations

Blightmoths can be found in the middle of the map, just east of Everfall Hamlet.

Brightwood Blightmoth Locations

There are only four areas in Brightwood where Blightmoth can be harvested. These are located in safe areas, although one requires you to navigate through Brightrest Cemetary to reach the location.

Weaver's Fen Blightmoth Locations

You can find some Blightmoths in Aria Village, a Level 34 landmark located south of the region's settlement.

It is recommended to level up your Harvesting trade skill to Level 45 to track down the resource node as it blends well with the environment.

Ebonscale Reach Blightmoth Locations

There are two general locations where players can farm Blightmoths in Ebonscale Reach. First and nearer to the main settlement are the swamps to its south and southwest. While abundant, Blightmoths here will be spread out across different landmarks. Crocodiles and boars infest the swamp, so be careful when out farming.

The second location is Skysong Crypt which is farther and patrolled by level 58 Lost enemies. Despite its difficulty, this area is better for farming at higher levels since Blightmoths will spawn closer together.

Restless Shore Blightmoth Locations

You can only find Blightmoths in two areas in Restless Shore. The most accessible location is on Rabbit Island, northeast of the settlement. The landmark has no enemies, although a powerful Harekeeper appears at night.

Another Blightmoth appears inside Solitude Cemetery, north of the region's fort. This area contains Level 44 enemies, so you may need to defeat them before you can harvest the resource node.

Great Cleave Blightmoth Locations

Blightmoths will only spawn in the Eeriedune Graveyard area to the southwest of Great Cleave. This area is guarded by level 47 enemies, making it a bit of challenge to farm for fresh level 40 players.

Also, Eeriedune Graveyard is sometimes used as an EXP Pull Farm. Make sure to scope out the area for high level players pulling enemies to avoid getting mobbed while exploring and farming.

Edengrove Blightmoth Locations

There is an area of swampland in Edengrove called Bladderwort that will have a decent amount of Blightmoths. To get here, simply fast travel to the Gatherer's Road spirit shrine and head south from there.
