This build is for more offensive healers that can heal and deal damage. You have your Life Staff for sustain, allowing you to take a bunch of damage and still continue to fight, and your Hatchet will allow you to dish out the damage. Having an Amber gem in your Hatchet slot will allow you to deal more damage even if you are putting your points in Focus!
You will be using your Hatchet to deal your damage, whether you are starting a fight or ending it, you will mostly have your Hatchet out. Berserk is an amazing buff and when upgraded with passive skills it can make you an unstoppable DPS machine. Raging Torrent will further increase your DPS, while Social distancing is going to be used as an escape when you are in danger, creating distance to allow you to swap to Light Staff and heal.
Your Life Staff will be your defensive option when you are in danger. When you need to heal you will just have to gain some distance and use Divine Embrace and Sacred Ground, using your ranged attacks to continue dealing damage. You can also use Sacred Ground and Beacon before you jump in with the Hatchet, allowing you to heal while fighting.

This build makes you more of a defensive healer that does not only heal, but also provides crowd control and debuffs against enemies. The healing skills in this build is a flexible standard build that can work solo or in a party. Having an Amber Gemstone on your War Hammer is recommended for more damage with more points in Focus.
With your Life Staff you have three healing skills, Divine Embrace for burst heals, Sacred Ground for an AoE heal over time, and Beacon for a heal that can also deal damage. Your passives will greatly increase your heal's effectiveness for you and any party members you have.
Your War Hammer is where some of your damage, disables and debuffs are gonna come from. You have a knockback to create space with Clear Out if you have enemies on top of you, Shockwave to stun and debuff nearby enemies, and Path of Destiny to deal some damage and stagger.
Your disables and debuffs combined with your heals can make you a tough target to take out, while making it easier for any allies to take out your opponents. This is a great build that can find a lot of use in PvE or PvP situations.

This build is for healers who want to do solo leveling. It has a lot of self-sustain with the Life Staff with Ice Gauntlets helping with crowd control, damage, and survivability. With this build, you should be able to solo the PvE content.
You have a lot of self-sustain healing with your active abilities (Divine Embrace, Sacred Ground, and Orb of Protection). You also have an offensive ability in Orb of Protection if you don't need your heals. Most of your passives supporting this solo self-healing playstyle, with Absolved and Revitalize being must-haves.
Your Ice Gauntlet will help with crowd control and is a great source of extra damage. Ice Pylon is a great ability to increase your damage output and enable frost buffs, combined with crowd-control of Ice Storm and you can increase your DPS. Entombed is another great active skill that helps with your survivability as a solo player. It can act as a panic button when you are in trouble.
In combat, you will be summoning Ice Pylons then switching back to your Life Staff to do damage with Light and Heavy attacks. Switching back to Ice Gauntlet if you need more Pylons or if you need to slow with Ice Storm. Heal yourself whenever you need to. And If you end up getting low on mana or your healing spells are on cooldown and you are in danger of dying, you can use Entombed to keep yourself alive longer, buying you time to heal yourself.

The Sword and Shield / Life Staff Paladin Build is a Healing & Defense centric build that relies on crowd control, debuffs, and healing to outlast enemies.
The Life Staff skills present you with more options to deal damage with Orb of Protection and Beacon, which can also function as healing spells. These are the ideal skills for a Paladin build. Sacred Ground offers supplemental healing and is a good skill to have.
The Sword & Shield skills Shield Rush and Shield Bash are used when enemies are starting to pile up and get out of hand. Hunker down with Defiant Stance when you're being ganged up on.
This build's passive skills are geared towards decreasing incoming damage, bolstering the effectivity of your shield, boosting healing output, and granting buffs on yourself and your allies.

This build pairs up the Void Gauntlet with the Life Staff for its ability to scale off Focus and deal a ton of damage to opponents while healing your team at the same time. Since these weapons use the same stat, your healing will always be maximized, especially since you will get a healing bonus from committing points in Focus.
During engagements, especially massive pulls, make sure to apply the necessary buffs to your team using the Life Staff. This includes Beacon and Orb of Protection for Passive Buffs like Fortify. Drop Sacred Ground as well for the passive AoE healing. If your team is fully buffed, use the Void Gauntlet for the DPS. We use Orb of Decay as our primary DPS tool against your opponents. If detonated correctly after hitting an opponent, it will give you two stacks of Void Essence, which you can use to reset the CD of your skills.
Use Petrifying Scream at your opponent to disable their movement and allow your team to escape during rough situations. Inflicting Essence Rupture will help with the healing effort as long as they hit the target inflicted with a said status.
