To gather the required materials, craft a Flint Pick, Flint Axe, and Flint Skinning Knife at either the starter beach campfire, a player camp, or a settlement's Workshop.
Equip the tools and start gathering the following raw materials and refining them back at the settlement's refining stations:
1 | Mine Iron Veins for Iron Ore. Refine the Iron Ore into Iron Ingots at a Smelter. |
---|---|
2 | Cut down Young Trees for some Green Wood. Refine the Green Wood into Timber at a Woodshop. |
3 | Hunt down animals and skin them for Rawhide. Refine the Rawhide into Coarse Leather at a Tannery. |
4 | For Fishing Poles, farm Hemp for Fiber. Refine the Fiber into Linen at a Loom. |
Players can also opt to buy a set of Iron Tools from a settlement's Trading Post. Browse through the available listings and purchase tools that are appropriate for your level and budget.
