This guide will show you how to split item stacks in New World. Learn how to separate item stacks to sort your inventory efficiently!

| 1 | Press the Tab key to open your Inventory. |

| 2 | Click on the item and select Split. You can also hold the Ctrl key and press the Left-Click mouse button. |
| 3 | Move the slider to the left and to the right. You can also type the number of items you want to split. |
| 4 | Click and drag the item to move it from the equipped items to the inventory or vice-versa. You can also move the item outside the inventory to discard it. |
To start splitting item stacks, press the Tab key to open your Inventory.
Click on the item you want to split and select Split. You can also hold the Ctrl key and press the Left-Click mouse button.
Move the silder from left to right to split a certain amount. Moving it to the leftmost side splits it to the minimum count (1) while the rightmost to take the maximum count.
You can also highlight the number below the item icon and type the number of items you want to split.
After indicating the number of item stacks to split, click and drag the item to move it from the equipped items to the inventory or vice-versa.
You can also click and drag the item to the right side of the screen to discard it.
