You can use Pigments to craft different types of Dyes. Crafting the materials into dyes raises your Cooking trade skill.
Pigments are also used as a required resource to craft certain furniture. Doing so increases your Furnishing trade skill.
Pigments are harvested from a variety of Fungi throughout Aeternum. The color of the fungus corresponds to the color of the pigment obtained.

Pigments can also be bought from the Trading Post in the settlement. Note that you need to check the market from the Trading Post screen to see which areas sell the materials.
