Bulrush is a Miscellaneous resource node that does not require any tool to harvest. Simply walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your Inventory.

Bulrush Locations

New World - Bulrush Resource Node

Bulrush are densely grouped plants that have a brown sausage-shaped spike on the stem.

Much like Briar, these plants are usually found near the edge of rivers and lakes. See the section below to learn all the Bulrush locations.

First Light Bulrush Locations

New World - First Light Map Bulrush

There are five areas in First Light where Bulrush can be harvested. We recommend heading over north of the region near Windsward's borders as the lake contains the most number of Bulrush.

Windsward Bulrush Locations

Windsward Bulrush Location

You can find several Bulrush just outside Windsward's settlement. If there are too many players in the said area, you can head to the river west of the settlement to obtain the plants.

Everfall Bulrush Locations

New World - Everfall Bulrush Locations

Bulrush are easily found in Everfall's rivers and lakes. If you have unlocked the Spirit Shrine east of the region and have enough Azoth, you can fast travel and obtain Bulrush near the area to minimize traveling time.

Monarch's Bluff Bulrush Locations

Monarchs Buff Bulrush Location

You can find several Bulrush in Monarch's Bluff although they are far from the region's settlement. Fortunately, the areas south of the region are near a Spirit Shrine so you can fast travel from there to reach the locations easily.

The table below shows the available resources that you can obtain from Bulrush.

Reeds is one of the crafting materials needed to create a Wicker Basket.

Firefly Bait is a type of gatherable bait that you can use to catch better fish in fresh water.

Bulrush Cob is a Medicinal Reagent. You can use it to craft potions such as the Weak Health Potion.
