Platinum Ore Vein: Locations and Maps

Platinum Vein is a Mining resource node that requires the Pickaxe to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your inventory.

Platinum Vein Locations

Platinum Veins are rocks covered by white veins. It is differentiated from the other veins with its chalky white spots and veins on its exterior.

You can find them in the highlands and are usually found on rocks. See the section below to learn all the Platinum Vein locations.

First Light Platinum Vein Locations

There is a single Platinum Vein spot in First Light. Not ideal, but it is there if you really need Platinum Ores.

Windsward Platinum Vein Locations

Windsward might be the best starting are to find Platinum Veins as there are two quiet close to the Settlement and one near a Shrine.

Everfall Platinum Vein Locations

Everfall has a single spot with a few nodes that is nearby the settlement.

Monarch's Bluff Platinum Vein Locations

Monarch's Bluff Platinum Vein spot is to the north with two nodes near each other.

Cutlass Keys Platinum Vein Locations

You can find Platinum Veins inside Snaggletooth Burrow, west of the region's settlement. It is also a frequent farming area for other players, so you may find no resource nodes by the time you reach the cave.

Brightwood Platinum Vein Locations

There are only two locations in Brightwood with Platinum Veins. We highly recommend farming the eastern location as the the one nearest to the settlement will come with a tricky/buggy climb. However, if you do make it atop the rock face, you can camp that singular spawn for yourself.

Weaver's Fen Platinum Vein Locations

There is only one location in Weaver's Fen where Platinum Vein can be harvested. This area is on a cliffside north of Outlook Mill and only contains two Platinum Veins.

Ebonscale Reach Platinum Vein Locations

There will be two main locations where Platinum Veins spawn in Ebonscale Reach. First is the Stormcourt Shipment area that will have level 57+ Lost enemies. The Platinum here appears inside mining carts, making it a unique looking node.

To the northwest of the settlement is the Thunderking Grotto and Mountain Temple. Both areas will have Platinum Veins, although some will be tricky to locate as they appear at different elevations. When tracking using the compass, do note that some Platinum vein icons are bugged and will look like Starmetal icons, instead.

Restless Shore Platinum Vein Locations

There are three areas in Restless Shore where you can find Platinum Veins. The safest areas are on a rocky terrrain north of the Shrine of Sisyphos.

The area northwest of the region contains a Platnium Vein inside Fangsnap's Den. Inside the den contains three Level 41 wolves, along with a Level 42 elite enemy.

Great Cleave Platinum Vein Locations

The upper levels of the Defiler Excavation in Great Cleave will be the only areas that you can find Platinum veins. When looking to farm this location, be cautious as you can get easily mobbed by level 41+ Corrupted enemies.

Edengrove Platinum Vein Locations

While there are a lot of Platinum Veins in Edengrove, they are fairly difficult to farm given the different elevations you will find them in. It should be noted that because of the height differences, tracking may not work, leaving you to find the veins on your own.

The easiest place to farm Platinum will be the cliffs and lakesides of Fanglethorn Pass and Creeping Reach. Both locations are a short walk from Valor Hold Outpost and will only be patrolled by level 51-54 Angry Earth enemies.

Mourningdale Platinum Vein Locations

Platinum Veins in Mourningdale will only spawn within 3 locations: Foulroot, Ramshead Cave, and Bronzethroat Burrow. The easiest to farm will be Foulroot as enemies here are easier to deal with. The other two locations are havens for high-level bears making farming dangerous.
