Leathers are a type of crafting resource used to create different types of weapons and armor.

How to Get Leathers

Process Hides using the Tannery

You can use the Tannery in a settlement to create leather from hides. Processing the hides raises your Leatherworking trade skill.

Buy from the Trading Post

Leather can also be bought from the Trading Post in the settlement. Note that you need to check the market from the Trading Post screen to see which areas sell the materials.
