Saltpeter Locations

Saltpeters are deposits that have distinct white streaks and are found on the ground.

These deposits are usually located inside caves or near the edge of rivers and streams. See the section below to learn all the Saltpeter locations.

First Light Saltpeter Locations

There are several areas in First Light that contain Saltpeter, although most of these locations are spread out throughout the region.

We recommend farming Saltpeters on the southeastern side of the region, as the areas contain low-level enemies and are close to the region's settlement.

Windsward Saltpeter Locations

Saltpeters are found in the south and southeastern parts of Windsward. Most of these are located in mountainous areas and in enemy territories.

Everfall Saltpeter Locations

There is only one area in Everfall where Saltpeter can be harvested. If you need to obtain Saltpeters in bulk, we recommend heading over to Monarch's Bluff or Windsward.

Monarch's Bluff Saltpeter Locations

Saltpeters are easily found near the region's settlement, as well as its Spirit Shrines. We recommend starting from the southern Spirit Shrine and then working your way up to obtain the resource before returning to the settlement.

Brightwood Saltpeter Locations

Most of the Saltpeter in Brightwood will be in the middle of an enemy zone. Take your pick when it comes to enemies you want to face when farming Saltpeter. The northeast will have Lost enemies, the northwest will have very strong bears, while the southwest will pit you against Angry Earth.

Ebonscale Reach Saltpeter Locations

There will be a lot of Saltpeter spawns in Ebonscale Reach. However, it won't be worth it to go after the outliers located near the beaches of the region. Instead, the most efficient place to farm would be in Thunderking Grotto as the Saltpeter spawns here are clumped together. Just be wary of the level 54, lightning resistant Beasts.

Great Cleave Saltpeter Locations

All of the Saltpeter in Great Cleave will be found in unnamed caves to the north of the region. Be wary when farming these nodes as they are usually guarded by ice wolf elementals. All of them will be level 50, making it a challenge even for high level 40s to tackle.

Two caves can be found on opposite sides of Svikin's Stand. The other cave to the west can be found in what amounts to no-man's land, just beneath the mountainside that makes up Dead Fool's Pass.

Weaver's Fen Saltpeter Locations

You can find plenty of Saltpeter under the North Vega Bridge and South Vega Bridge near the region's settlement. These areas contain Level 32-34 Ancient enemies, although they are located on the bridge itself.

An alternative location is inside Hazel's Cave located southeast of the settlement. This area contains Level 32 Lost enemies, so you may need to defeat or avoid them before harvesting the resource node.
