The Abandoning Event bug is a UI error in New World that can occur whenever you abruptly leave a corrupted breach's event radius. This guide will show methods you can use to fix the Abandoning Event bug. Read on to know more!

If the Abandoning Event banner gets stuck on the top-right corner of your screen, simply enter another corruption breach and leave. This may sometimes fix the bug in the process.
Corrupted Breaches: How to Cleanse Portals
If the above method does not work, press the Esc key and go to the Settings tab. Select Exit to Main Menu to take you back to the login screen and re-enter the game. This usually fixes the bug as it resets the game's UI.
