Enter a Different Corrupted Breach

New World - Enter a Different Corruption Breach
If the Abandoning Event banner gets stuck on the top-right corner of your screen, simply enter another corruption breach and leave. This may sometimes fix the bug in the process.

Corrupted Breaches: How to Cleanse Portals

Exit to the Main Menu

New World - Exit to Main Menu

If the above method does not work, press the Esc key and go to the Settings tab. Select Exit to Main Menu to take you back to the login screen and re-enter the game. This usually fixes the bug as it resets the game's UI.
