New World's official twitter has addressed this error and recommends repairing the game using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe.
See the table below to find and repair the Easy Anti-Cheat program file. Be sure to close your Steam client first before following the steps.

An update in the Steam client caused the steamclient64.dll in the program file to change, leading to the untrusted system file error when booting up the game.
Sometimes this error occurs when the game's Easy Anti-Cheat is down. The only solution is to wait until the servers are fixed.
