How to Fix Easy Anti-Cheat Error
Repair Service using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe
New World's official twitter has addressed this error and recommends repairing the game using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe.
See the table below to find and repair the Easy Anti-Cheat program file. Be sure to close your Steam client first before following the steps.
| 1 | Locate New World's EasyAntiCheat folder on Steam\steamapps\common\New World\EasyAntiCheat. |

| 2 | Right-click EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and run it as administrator. |
| 3 | Click on the Repair Service button and wait for it to complete the installation. |
| 4 | Open your Steam client and run New World. |
What Causes the Easy Anti-Cheat Error?

An update in the Steam client caused the steamclient64.dll in the program file to change, leading to the untrusted system file error when booting up the game.
Easy Anti-Cheat Servers are Down
Sometimes this error occurs when the game's Easy Anti-Cheat is down. The only solution is to wait until the servers are fixed.
