Ironwood Trees: Locations and Maps

Ironwood Tree is a Logging resource node that requires the Logging Axe to harvest. With the tool equipped, walk up to the resource node and press the E key to gather and add it to your inventory.

Ironwood Tree Locations

Ironwood are medium-sized trees that has a thin tree trunk with orange spots. They may resemble a Young Tree but these trees have orange leaves on its branches.

You can find these trees in the grasslands, although some are found near bodies of water. See the section below to learn all the Ironwood locations.

First Light Ironwood Tree Locations

Only one area in First Light has Ironwood trees. You can use the Spirit Shrine near the area to fast travel and minimize traveling time.

Windsward Ironwood Tree Locations

There is only one location in Windsward that contains Ironwood trees. There are little to no enemies in the area, making it a safe spot to farm for Ironwood.

Everfall Ironwood Tree Locations

Everfall only has one area that has Ironwood trees and is near the region's fort and settlement.

Monarch's Bluff Ironwood Tree Locations

You can find Ironwood trees in two areas in Monarch's Bluff. Both are found near a Spirit Shrine, making it easy to farm for the resource.

Cutlass Keys Ironwood Tree Locations

There are only two areas in Cutlass Keys that has Ironwood Trees. We recommend the area east of the region's fort as it is near a Spirit Shrine and does not contain any enemies nearby.

The second area contains a lot of Level 35 enemies, making it a dangerous farming place for low-level players.

Weaver's Fen Ironwood Tree Locations

You can only find Ironwood Trees on top of Outlook Mill southeast of the region's settlement. You can climb over the rock formations west of the landmark to avoid the enemies when heading up to the mill.

Note that the top of this landmark contains a Level 34 Fenwallow Sorrowgeist that you may need to defeat as it is close to the Ironwood Trees.

Restless Shore Ironwood Tree Locations

There are only four locations in Restless Shore where you can find Ironwood Trees. Three of these areas are safe spots except for the red circle in Eridanus as it contains Level 44 enemies.

It is recommended to unlock the Shrine of Sisyphos on the northern area of the region to easily access the Ironwood Tree location near Boarsholm.

Ebonscale Reach Ironwood Tree Locations

There are plenty of Ironwood Trees in Ebonscale Reach. The best place to farm them would have to be the northern areas. Skysong Crypt, the land to its west, and the area to the west of the Traveler's Precipice spirit shrine have a decent amount of Ironwood. Just be wary of the level 59 wolves that patrol them.

The southern areas are a bit harder to farm consistently. The area located to the south of Thunderking Grotto will be a large mountain that is hard to climb. The other area in the Imperial Palace will be impossible to farm solo as it is a level 62 elite area.

Great Cleave Ironwood Tree Locations

The only Ironwood Tree spawn in Great Cleave will be on the eastern end of the massive Tempest Lane bridge. To access this area, fast travel to Eastburn Outpost and head for the bridge. The area will be tucked behind unnamed ruins guarded by Ancient enemies.

Edengrove Ironwood Tree Locations

There are plenty of Ironwood Trees in Edengrove and they are relatively easy to farm. To get to the valley with all the trees, simply fast travel to the Blighted Shrine and head west, cutting down Ironwood along the way.

Mourningdale Ironwood Tree Locations

There are a few Ironwood Tree spawns in Mourningdale. However, most of them will only be copses of Ironwood trees, making farming in bulk difficult.

The easiest locations to access are the two areas near Mourningdale Town. Do note that the spawns in Guerra's Curse (east of the town) will be guarded by level 48 Lost enemies.

Ironwood is a raw material that you can refine into Ironwood Planks using the Woodshop. You can also use it to create Charcoal using the Smelter.
