Be Aggressive Dodge his Attacks Avoid his Unblockable Grab

Be Aggressive

Darth Vader is slow and rarely attacks during the first phase of the fight. Take advantage of this by being aggressive and break his stamina through repetitive attacks.

Combat Tips and Fighting Styles

Dodge his Attacks

Vader is less aggressive during the first phase and does not do consecutive attacks. We recommend dodging his attack to reposition and strike him from his flank.

Avoid his Unblockable Grab

Avoid Darth Vader's unblockable grab by moving away when he glows red. Each of Vader's attacks hit hard and are hard to recover from considering that he may follow up on his attacks.

Phase 2 now offers a more aggressive Vader, allowing you to take advantage of his combos by parrying them to break his stamina.

Even if Vader has a new moveset for this phase, it's best to stick with being aggressive to lock him out of his other moves, and dodge his unblockable attacks to avoid damage.

Use Barrier to Block Projectiles Same Strategy as Phase 2

Use Barrier to Block Projectiles

Use Cere's Force Barrier ability to block Vader's projectiles. Note that Vader's projectiles come fast and can instantly kill you when hit.

Same Strategy as Phase 2

Vader's final phase has the same moveset as Phase 2 but with the added gimmick of his projectiles. Stay aggressive to disable him from launching projectiles at you and dodge his unblockable attacks to avoid damage.
