With a defensive target like Skritons, using slow is a must to create openings and get free hits. Using slow also makes it easier to break the Golden Skriton's big claw.
Keep attacking the Golden Skriton's big claw to break it. The Golden Skriton uses its big claw to shield itself from your attacks, breaking this part will make it easier for you to damage the Golden Skriton.
The Golden Skriton's attacks have big and slow wind-ups from its tail and big claw; its only fast attacks are from its mouth and small claw. Parry most of its attacks to deplete the Golden Skriton's stamina and land free hits on it.
All of the Golden Skriton's unblockable attacks are from its big claw except for its first attack when it spawns. Dodge and move away from the Golden Skriton as soon as it turns red.
Defeating the Golden Skriton allows you to collect the Unflinching Perk in the cavern inside the sand pit. The perk allows you to absorb one hit when charging the blaster without being interrupted.
