You can disable Robot shields by using your force abilities or simply by damaging them in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor. Learn how to disable Droideka and turret shields in combat!

How to Disable Turret Shields

Use Force Slam

Turrets
Use force slam to not only disable turret shields, but instantly destroy them as well. We highly recommend destroying turrets immediately after unlocking the force ability as they may instantly kill players from a single barrage.

You encounter the turret shields are located in the Loading Gantry in Koboh Part 3.

Unlock Force Slam later on in Koboh Part 3

You unlock Force Slam later on in the same level after a cutscene with Rayvis in Koboh Part 3. Until then, you will just have to run behind objects or dash repeatedly to avoid laser blasts.

How to Disable Droideka Shields

Rapidly Attack Them

Rapidly attacking Droidekas with the lightsaber or the blaster overloads their shields and disables it. Once you disable a droideka shield, there's a chance of performing an instant-kill animation on them.
