Second Visit to Shattered Moon

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Upgraded Ascension Cable
You can get the Upgraded Ascension Cable during the Pursue Rayvis objective in your second visit to Shattered Moon. During your pursuit, you will reach the central part of the Republic Research Laboratory. A workbench can be located in the area.

A cutscene will play out after interacting with the workbench. After the cutscene ends, you will acquire the Upgraded Ascension Cable.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Upgraded Ascension Cable
The Upgraded Ascension Cable functions similarly to the old Ascension Cable, only with the additional features of being able to grapple towards perches and launch you away from perches after a solid foothold.

Grapple to Yellow Balloons

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Upgraded Ascension Cable
After acquiring the Upgraded Ascension Cable, you can now gain access to the floating yellow balloons you have seen throughout the game. Simply trigger the command prompt to grapple towards a yellow balloon, and aim Cal to where you want him to jump next.
