The floating yellow balloons in the game can be reached using the Upgraded Ascension Cable . Learn on how to grapple to yellow balloons, and how to reach certain areas using the yellow balloons in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

You can grapple to yellow balloons by using the Upgraded Ascension Cable you acquire from the Pursue Rayvis objective during your second visit to Shattered Moon.
Proceed towards the workbench that you will find in the central area of the Republic Research Laboratory and interact with it to initiate a cutscene. After the cutscene ends, you will gain the Upgraded Ascension Cable.
Shattered Moon Part 2 Walkthrough
Simply trigger the standard grapple command prompt to grapple towards a yellow balloon, and aim Cal to where you want him to jump next. The yellow balloons can serve as a sort of bridge that enables you to access certain areas.
