Essences are collectibles that increase the max limit of your Life and Force Meter in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Read on to learn more about Health and Force Essences, where you can get them, and if they are missable.

Area: Undercity Meats
Where to Find: At the Mediation point, follow the path forward past 2 Probe Droids and you'll find it inside a room full of meat at the left side. |

Area: Derelict Dam
Where to Find: Once you've blown a hole in the cave, lure the Roller Mine towards the road to the right past the broken elevator and throw it to the tarred wall below. Follow the path, climb the rope, and you'll find the chest above near the elevator. |

Area: Hunter's Quarry
Where to Find: This essence can be found behind a destructible wall. Acquire a roller mine from the nearby building to get this essence. |

Area: Devastated Settlement
Where to Find: After unlocking the Koboh Grinder, bring the orb with you and head back past the waterfall opening. Place the Orb on the nearby Coupler and use the Koboh Grinder to trace it and destroy the Koboh Matter. Climb the wall up and you'll find the Essence on your right. |

Area: Generator Underbelly
Where to Find: From the Meditation Point, bring up the platform infront and head for the bridge. Take the path left and climb up the climable wall on the left above. Bring down the platform from above and wall run your way through. You'll find the Essence at the end. |

Area: Winding Ravine
Where to Find: Place one cube in the middle of the two platforms and push the other cube across it. Climb up and you'll find the Essence on top of the ledge. |

Area: Diagnostics Corridor
Where to Find: Rotate the Minor Oculus twice and follow the path forward. Bring the balloon outside and cross towards the other balloon on the right. Enter the green laser wall and you'll find the Essence on a high platform. |

Where to Find: Head down the spiral staircase and you'll see an opening by the wall near some Hardshells. You'll find the Essence inside by the window. |

Where to Find: Grapple up to the balloon above the Skriton pit then turn to the Grapple Point on the wall-runnable wall then jump towards the scalable wall and jump up until you another wall to your left, jump to that wall and double jump-dash towards the ledge with the Relter. |

Where to Find: From the Arid Flats Meditation Point, zipline down to Narkis Highlands then turn right into another zipline. From here turn around and double jump-dash to a set of scalable walls and climb left until you see a ledge with the Force Essence |

Where to Find: In the cave with the Hardshells and Sutaban, you will find a ledge with the Force Essence |

Where to Find: On top of the structure connecting to Wayfinder's Tomb, you will find the upgrade near an Anchorite and a Relter. Use a Mind Trick to convince the Anchorite into opening a locked door to the upgrade. |

Essences are collectibles that when acquired will increase the maximum limit of your Life and Force Meter. This will allow you to perform more skills that uses Force and help you survive longer during difficult combat encounters.
There are only a set number of Essences in the game. But even if you missed an Essence on your first visit to a planet, you can revisit planets to re-explore them and find the ones you missed.
