The person in the bacta tank in Jedi Survivor has been revealed to be a High Republic Jedi. Read on to learn about who's in the bacta tank, who this High Republic Jedi is, and what their role might be in Jedi Survivor.
The man from the bacta tank can later be seen wearing robes bearing the High Republic Crest in the Official Story Trailer. It is later confirmed that the man freed by Cal was Dagan Gera, a Jedi from the High Rebuplic Era, which was revealed to be outcast by the High Republic Jedi Order.
Dagan Gera was outcast by the High Republic Jedi Order because of his obsession with the planet Tanalorr which drove him to murder his Jedi bretheren who would deny him.

Quinlan Vos was a member of the Jedi Order and one of those hunted down by clone troopers when Palpatine executed Order 66.
It was previously theorized that Quinlan Vos was the one imprisoned in the bacta tank, given that his connection and familiarity to the dark side enables him to become a weapon that can be exploited by the Empire.
Dagan Gera's obsession with Tanalorr remains even after years of bacta imprisonment. This makes him a rival to Cal Kestis who aims to make Tanalorr a haven for the empire's persecuted, while Dagan wants Tanalorr to build an army to rival the Galactic Empire and all who stand in his way
