On Tanalorr, Bode Akuna emerges as the final boss and challenges Cal and Merrin. The twist of the game is Bode has been working for the Empire this entire time, so don't worry; it's not another scenario where Darth Vader appears as the final boss, like in Jedi Fallen Order.

Why is Bode the Final Boss?

Bode has an agreement with the Empire that they'll let him live if he works for them. The Empire previously killed Bode's wife, so he isn't trying to run.

However, he does join Cal because he wants to go to Tanalorr, although he's against Cal's decision to want to give it to Cere's group.
