Parrying is a fundamental combat mechanic of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor as it greatly decreases your opponent's stamina which gives you a window to strike them if their stamina is fully depleted. Read on to learn how to parry, and which attacks cannot be parried.

Block an enemy attack just as it is about to hit you to perform a successful parry. Parry windows vary from each difficulty, with the easiest difficulty having the most time for parries while the hardest difficulty has the least time.
Parrying deals massive stamina damage against your enemies; when their stamina is depleted they will not be able to move or attack for a while, allowing you to perform lethal combos to take them down.

Enemies can parry your attacks as well, so it's worth noting that continiously attacking can be punishing for you as it will drain your stamina.

Adjust your game difficulty to get your desired parry window. The easiest difficulty gives the most time for your parry window, while the hardest difficulty requires reflex mastery.
Difficulty Differences and How to Change Difficulty
If an enemy glows red as it is about to attack, this indicates that the enemy will have an attack that cannot be parried or blocked. To avoid these attacks, use your force abilities or dodge out of the way.
