Jedi Survivor - How to Pass Mountain Ascent Shield
The first green shield in Mountain Ascent on Koboh can be opened early in Star Wars: Jedi Survivor but the second shield requires the dash ability. Read on to learn how to pass through the Mountain Ascent.

Use Jedi Mind Trick on Stormtrooper

Jedi Survivor - Mountain Ascent Shield Choices

Choice Consequence
Harmless The Stormtrooper opens the shield.
Authorized The Stormtrooper opens the shield.

You can mind trick the Stormtrooper guarding the first shield to open it. Note that the mind trick will wear off once the shield opens and you will have to fight the Stormtroopers.

Second Shield Requires Dash Ability

You cannot pass through the second shield as this requires the Dash ability which you get from progressing the game on Jedha Part 2.

Slice: Security Droid

Slice Security Droid Unlock Location - Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Even though you can't progress through the second shield until Koboh Part 4, you can pick up the Slice: Security Droid BD-1 Upgrade on the terminal after having the Stormtrooper deactivate the first shield.
