How to Customize the Lightsaber

Go to the Workbench

Players can customize their lightsabers by going to the workbenches located all throughout the galaxy. Interacting with it will open a lightsaber customization menu that allows you to customize the blade, components, and materials of your lightsaber.

Blades Change the Color of the Lightsaber

The blades tab in the lightsaber menu allows players to change the color of the lightsaber blade. There are 9 colors you can unlock early on in the game, while the Red Lightsaber can be unlocked for New Journey Plus.

Components Change the Parts of the Grip

The components lets players change the parts of the grip or the hilt of the lightsaber. You can earn components by looting from chests found all throughout the different planets available in the game.

Materials Change What the Lightsaber is Made of

The materials customization grants players the option to change what the lightsaber is made out of. This essentially changes the color theme of the grip or components of the lightsaber. Similarly, you can find lightsaber materials by looting from chests. All weapon materials you get for the lightsaber also apply to the blaster.

Do Lightsaber Parts Matter?

No Gameplay Advantages

Aside from the perk of personalizing your lightsaber, there are no stat bonuses or gameplay advantages when customizing. This lets players tailor their lightsaber as much as they want without having to worry about how it affects their playstyle.
