Jedi Survivor How to Enable Hints

Hints can be enables in the menu before you start a new game in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Read on to learn how to access hints in the game, and if there is an option to disable hints.

Menu Before the Start of a New Game

Enable or Disable Hints Start Menu - Star Wars Jedi Survivor

In the start screen, the game will prompt players if they want to enable hints before the start of the game. Players can enable Force Interaction Hints which indicates which Force ability is needed for an environmental puzzle. They can also enable Navigation Hints which guides players where to go by marking it on the Holomap.

In the Accessibility Settings

Hints can also be toggled in the accessibility settings. To do this, go to the settings screen and head to the accessibility tab. Scroll down to the gameplay section and toggle the Navigation Assist button to on or off.

How to Show BD-1 Hints Again

The hint prompt will appear if the game notices you're stuck or you've spent time wandering around the same area. At this point, a prompt will appear to press the button that will initiate conversation with BD-1.

If the command prompt is activated, a dialogue with Cal and BD-1 will begin that would lead to hints involving the current level or puzzle of the game. You need to turn up your audio or enable subtitles though to get the hint.

Can You Disable Hints?

Yes, Disable It Before New Game or in the Settings

You can disable hints in your gameplay by turning off the Force Interaction Hints and the Navigation Hints before you start a new playthrough in the main menu.

Additionally, you can also disable hints by heading to the accessibility tab in the settings menu. From there, you can toggle the Navigation Assist button off in the gameplay section.
