How to Open Untamed Downs Locked Door

How to Open Untamed Downs Locked Door

Use Electro Dart Ability

Untamed Downs Locked Door Electro Dart

To open the Untamed Downs locked door, you need to shoot an Electro Dart at the mechanism inside from the window to the right of the door.

You only get access to the Electro Dart ability in the Koboh Part 4 story, so you'll have to complete that mission first before unlocking this door and getting this chest.

Untamed Downs Open Locked Door

To shoot the mechanism, face the locked door then follow the wall on its right until you see a barred window looking into the room behind the door. While the door itself is in Untamed Downs, the window technically falls in the Harvest Ridge area as seen by the map above.

Fast Travel to Bygone Settlement

Untamed Downs Locked Door

Fast travel to the Bygone Settlement meditation circle, then head through Untamed Downs on the way to Harvest Ridge and Fort Kah'lin. After passing the red chest in Untamed Downs (and have Fort Kah'lin in your sights), head right up to the locked door.
