How to Beat Fractured History - Star Wars Jedi Survivor

This is a guide on how to beat the Fractured History Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Learn all the tips on how to defeat the enemies and what the reward is for beating it!

How to Beat Fractured History

Focus on One Oggdo First

You will have to fight two Oggdos at the same time during this challenge. Focus on taking down one Oggdo first to avoid dealing with two aggrresive Oggdos. This is due to the Oggdo using more unblockable attacks when you lower its health.

Time Your Double Jump to Dodge Unblockables

Dodging the Oggdo's unblockables is difficult due to its large hitbox. Try to time your double jump instead to dodge its unblockables since the hitbox will not be tall enough to reach you.

Tongue Grab Move

The Oggdo will jump away from you then it will whip its tongue before doing its Tongue Grab move. Try to time your double jump a few moments after it whips its tongue to grab you. You can also use dash after double jumping to extend the time you are in the air.

Charge Attack

When it is about to do its Charge Attack, the Oggdo will puff up its cheeks then swing back before charging at you. Time your double jump while it is swinging back to avoid its attack. You can also use dash after double jumping to extend the time you are in the air.

Large Chomp Move

You will know when the Oggdo is about to do a Large Chomp when it opens its mouth wide and leans back a little. Instead of jumping, try to dodge to the side so you can avoid it. It will usually use this move after charging at you or after using its normal bite attacks.

Jump and Smash Move

The Oggdo will jump away from you then jump right back at you to smash the ground. Time your double jump as it is jumping towards you to avoid its ground smash. You can do an aerial attack as you land back down, since the Oggdo will be vulnerable after doing this move.

Avoid Staying in the Edges of the Arena

The Oggdos can easily overwhelm you when they corner you, and it will be difficult to get out. Avoid staying in the edges of the arena so that you always have space to move around and to dodge incoming attacks.

Use Ranged Attacks Frequently

It is best to keep your distance, especially when there are still two Oggdos on the field. While keeping distance, use your ranged attacks frequently to chip away some health on the Oggdo. Lightsaber Throws or Blaster Shots are particularly effective against them.

Equip the Blaster Stance or Dual Wield Stance

Blaster Stance

The Blaster Stance is great for this Force Tear since it lets you deal damage with your blaster from a safe distance. Charged blaster shots also stagger the Oggdos, even when they are doing an unblockable attack. Having Efficient Heat Transfer makes this more effective at interrupting their unblockable, and you can follow it up with a counter attack.

Dual Wield Stance

The Dual Wield Stance is also a great alternative when battling the Oggdos because of its quick attacks that lets you dodge faster. Its Lightsaber Throws and Twin Viper skill lets you also deal a good amount of ranged damage. Pair it with perks or Force abilities that let you regenerate more Force Meter to use it more often.
