Star Wars Jedi Survivor - Game Length and How Long To Beat

Jedi Survivor takes about 20 hours to complete its main story, and as long as 45 hours to complete all side content and collectibles. Read on to learn how long each aspect of gameplay takes to complete, with game length estimates for each completion level!

How Long to Beat

Play Time for Each Completion Level

Main Story Only 15-20 Hours
Main Story and Side Content 30 Hours
Completionist Run 45+ Hours

Main Story: About 20 Hours

The main story of Star Wars Jedi Survivor takes about 20 hours to get through for a first playthrough, without taking additional side content into account.

This length includes some buffer time as players are expected to take time in solving puzzles and finding the routes to progress in platforming areas. On subsequent playthroughs, or if following a walkthrough for every step, it should be possible to get through much faster, as quickly as 15 or even 10 hours.

Main Story and Side Content: About 30 Hours

Side Content Time Required
Get all Map Upgrades 6 hours
Complete all Bounties 3 hours
Win all Holotactics matches 1 hour

The majority of additional content beyond the main story consists of Collectibles, so actual side content is a bit limited. The most significant side activity is getting the Map Upgrades which assist in finding the collectibles, which require the player to visit several additional puzzle dungeons such as the Jedi Chambers.

Other side content includes Bounty quests (though these are arguably better to do together along with gathering Collectibles) as well as the Holotactics minigame available after recruiting Bhima and Tulli.

Completionist Run: About 45 Hours

Side Content Time Required
Recruit all Pyloon's Saloon characters 2 hours
Complete all Force Tears 2 hours
Find all Seeds and Plants 1 hour
Find all Fish 1 hour
Gathering all Collectibles 6 hours
Other Trophy collection 3 hours

After getting all the Map Upgrades, you'll spend the remaining time sweeping up all the Collectibles spread across the map. Although these are divided up by time above, it's more efficient to simply go on a planet-by-planet basis and reach max completion in each area before moving on.

There's also a type of side quests known as Rumors, but these actually aren't tracked for completion and instead act as hints used to help the player achieve each of the goals listed in the above table. All aspects of completion are available even if you didn't get the associated Rumor itself, so you don't have to worry about finding and finishing all the Rumors specifically.
