Players will encounter large groups of enemies throughout the game. Enemies in large groups are typically weaker humanoid enemies like Stormtroopers, which make them perfect for farming for skill points. Take note of areas where there are large groups of enemies so you can come back to farm there.
Once you have cleared a group, visit the nearest meditation circle and rest so that the enemies will respawn. With this method, you won't have to constantly look for groups of enemies, and it also allows you to farm more efficiently.
It is important for players to equip the Wisdom Perk or the Gambler Perk whenever they are farming for skill points. These perks boost the amount of experience you gain from defeating enemies and helps you gain more skill points quicker. Do note that the Gambler Perk does not let you pick up your skill points when you die, so make sure the enemies you are farming are easy.
The Wisdom Perk can be bought from Zee's Shop in Koboh, which costs 5 Datadiscs. On the other hand, the Gambler Perk can be obtained by defeating Sutaban Alpha in the Crypt of Uhrma, Jedha.
One tip that can help make farming easier is by changing the difficulty in the settings menu. Making the difficulty lower lets you farm enemies quicker and easier since there is less risk of dying. Lowering the difficulty also does not affect the amount of experience you gain from enemies.
To change the difficulty, go to the gameplay settings in the menu. There you can select the difficulty you prefer to farm with. Although it is recommended to set it to Story Mode for the easiest way to farm enemies.
Players can also find skill points scattered throughout the game as Collectibles.
Unlike in the previous game, you don't lose all unspent Skill Points when you die. You merely lose the XP you've earned on your XP bar.
