Beskar Steel is merely a color option part of the Unique Metal Material set. It's purely cosmetic and does not provide any in-game effects.
Once you have the Unique Metal Weapon Material, you'll find the Beskar Steel as the third color option in the set. You can equip the Unique Metal weapon material onto your lightsaber or blaster at any workbench.
Cosmetics in Jedi Survivor, including Weapon Materials such as the Beskar Steel do not provide any gameplay perks or stat benefits. This means that players can freely customize and personalize their characters since it does not affect gameplay!
The Beskar Steel is an iconic and legendary material in Star Wars lore for being one of the most indestructible in the fictional galaxy. The metal can withstand blaster shots and lightsaber strikes. However, it can still be damaged by weapons made from Beskar.
Beskar Steel also appears when you encounter Boba Fett at the end of the Bounty questline. In the cutscene, he just shrugs off a blaster shot from an enemy due to his Beskar Steel armor.
