No Gameplay Features for Romance

Cal and Merrin with Greez
There are no gameplay features to romance Merrin as she is Cal's love interest by default. This is hinted at in the early cutscenes of the game when you first visit Jedha.

We recommend not skipping cutscenes because this is where Cal and Merrin's romance is shown. While dialogue during gameplay may only show light banter, cutscenes show the romance between the two well and clearly.

Cal and Merrin Kiss
After the events of Fallen Order, Cal seemingly has developed romantic feelings for Merrin. Although Cal shows it at times, he is conflicted about settling down with her as one of the strict mandates of the Jedi Order is having no attachments.

Near the end of Jedi Survivor, Cal makes up his mind and decided to move forward in his life with Merrin, putting the fallen Jedi Order behind.
