Nekko (Koboh) | Relter (Koboh) | Hover Vehicles (Coruscant) |
Speeder Bikes | AT-ST |
There are land creatures in Koboh that Cal can tame and ride after. Rideable land creatures allow Cal to traverse the land quickly and allow him to reach places that are too high.
Rideable land creatures also allow Cal to use his lightsaber for mounted combat.
Flying creatures are also present in Koboh which Cal can hold on to travel faster while airborne, avoiding obstacles, and enemies, and allowing Cal to survey the area while flying.
As shown in the trailer, Speeder Bikes used by Scout Troopers can also be used by Cal in one sequence of the game. Speeder bikes are shown to be faster than land creatures and also allow Cal to use his lightsaber for mounter combat. Speeder Bikes do not help Cal in any platforming puzzle, unlike land creatures.
Cal is shown battling and pulling out an AT-ST pilot in the trailers. While there is no confirmation whether AT-STs will be rideable for free roam, we speculate that it will be an option to use when fighting against Storm Troopers.
You will need to tame creatures first before riding them. Over the course of the story, you will gain abilities to tame Nekko and Relters in Koboh in order to mount them for traversal.
Like the AT-AT in Fallen Order's Kashyyyk chapter, some vehicles or mounts may only be available for specific missions. These mounts help Cal with either bypassing hazardous terrain or clearing waves of enemies.
