The Investigate the Abandoned Shack Rumor can be found at the Nekko Stables in the Rambler's Reach Outpost on the planet of Koboh.
Speak to the Prospector at the Nekko Stables. Be sure to complete the conversation with them to unlock the Rumor!

| 1 |  Head to Foothill Falls To begin the rumor, head towards the Foothill Falls area. Starting from Rambler's Reach Outpost, proceed towards the path between Pyloon's Saloon and Doma's Outpost. |
| 2 |  Ride the Zipline Up Proceed through the path; when you encounter a fork, turn right. Ride the zipline in this right path to get to the next area. Note: At the end of the zipline, you'll encounter Skoova from the How to Clean the Fish Tank Rumor if you haven't met him yet. |
| 3 |  Ride Relter to Shack To your left, near the falls, you'll find a Relter. Ride it down to the next area across the water towards the shack. |
| 4 |  Clear Enemies Around Shack There will be a few enemies around the shack. Clear them out first so you have an easier time around the area. Note: Behind the shack by the Raiders, you might see a path to below the shack; this is the path to the Phon'Qi Caverns, a dungeon unrelated to this rumor but has amazing rewards if you complete it. |
| 5 |  Jump Towards Wall With Nekko You'll find a wall that you can wallrun on, but it's too high to reach. Ride the Nekko in the area, jump while riding it, then jump again towards the wall and run towards the next area. If you can't find the Nekko, use the call button to summon it. |
| 6 |  Swing Across to Next Area Once you reach the higher ground, you'll find a bunch of swingable bars. Jump towards them and swing across to the next area. |
| 7 |  Slice Mechanism to Spawn Roller Mine To your right, you'll find a mechanism that can be sliced. Slice it with BD-1 to make a Roller Mine appear. |
| 8 |  Lure and Force Throw Mine into Shack Door After the mine appears, run towards the ledge near the shack. Jump down to the roof of the shack, Force Pull the mine, then Force Push it through the roof's hole and towards the door in the shack to destroy it. |
| 9 |  Open the Stim Chest Go down and enter the door. Open the Stim Chest inside to finish the Rumor. |
Completing the Investigate the Abandoned Shack Rumor gives a Stim Upgrade to increase the maximum number of healing stims you can carry!

This is not related to the rumor, but just around the shack you'll find a cave (look for it near the water's side) where you can wall run to higher ground and find a Priorite Shard.

Also unrelated to the rumor, but the Phon'Qi Caverns can be accessed as well from the shack area. Behind the shack, you'll find a blockade to a basement; Force Pull this blockade and enter the Phon'Qi Caverns.
There are all sorts of rewards if you decide to traverse this dungeon.
