What is the Best Difficulty?

Story Mode Players who want to focus more on the story and desire a minimal combat challenge.
Jedi Padawan Players who are new to melee action games and desire a forgiving combat challenge.
Jedi Knight Players who want an adventure with some combat challenge.
Jedi Master Players who want an adventure with reasonably challenging combat.
Jedi Grand Master Players who want an intense and demanding combat experience.

Story Mode difficulty is best for players who only want to play the game to enjoy the story. While on the other end of the spectrum is Jedi Grand Master if you're a veteran of melee combat-centric games such as the Dark Souls series and want a tough challenge. Players can change the difficulty of the game at any point. This means that you can adjust the difficulty to the level you're most comfortable with whenever you want.

If you're unsure, it would be best to begin the game in Jedi Padawan or Knight difficulty to gauge your skill and adjust accordingly.

How to Change Difficulty

Can be Changed Anytime in the Menu

Much like Jedi Fallen Order, Jedi Survivor allows you to change difficulties at any given point in the game. This is partly because there is no loot or reward that scales with difficulty. The only mechanic that scales with difficulty are the three mechanics mentioned above.
