Attack Octostamps After They Land

Wait for Octostamps to land before attacking them
Wait until an Octostamp lands before attacking their backs.
avoid the shockwaves while attacking Amped Octostamps
Amped Octostamps will emit shockwaves after landing. Be sure to splat them quickly

Octostamps move very quickly and will try to attack you faceplanting the ground. They are only vulnerable after they attack, so take advantage of their vulnerable state.

Use Smallfry to Distract Enemies

This stage emphasizes attacking enemies from the back to defeat. This can be made easier by tossing Smallfry in an open area to distract them, then attacking the enemies while they are preoccupied
